About K.v.rangareddy — A Brief History

K.V. Rangareddy district usually just called Rangareddy wraps around the city of Hyderabad on three sides, covering the suburban and rural belt that has grown into one of the busiest peri-urban regions in southern India. The district was carved out of the older Hyderabad district in 1978 and named after Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy, a Telugu freedom fighter and one of the founding political leaders of post-independence Andhra Pradesh. The local economy is built almost entirely on the spillover of Hyderabad IT, pharma, real estate, logistics, hospitality and air-cargo.
